The magnificent Swarnagiri Sree Venkateswara Swamy Temple, also known as Yadadri Tirumala Devasthanam, is a fast-rising spiritual landmark situated on the Manepally Hills near Bhuvanagiri, about 45–50 km from Hyderabad.
Inspired by Tirumala Tirupati, this hill temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and is often called the “Golden Hill of Telangana.” The highlight is its massive 12-foot black granite idol of the Lord — the largest Venkateswara murti in the state.
Though newly built, Swarnagiri already attracts lakhs of devotees every month. People come not only for darshan, but also to experience the beautifully designed hill complex, the glowing Jala Narayana Sannidhi, and the peaceful atmosphere that feels surprisingly removed from city life.

Swarnagiri was built by the Manepally family as an act of gratitude after a miraculous recovery within their family, attributed to Tirupati tirtham.
Construction began around 2018 and continued for several years, blending Pallava, Chalukya, Chola, and Vijayanagara architectural styles. The project reportedly cost hundreds of crores and transformed the hill into a world-class devotional complex.
